Sebastian Vettel’s dreams came true at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix winning the race from pole position and claiming the Formula One World Drivers Championship to boot.
A win at the billion dollar Abu Dhabi Yaz Marina circuit did not guarantee Vettel the Drivers Championship, but luckily the early crash of Michael Schumacher bringing out the Safety car and mixing up the racing order coupled by early stops by Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso that resulted in Alonso and Webber rejoining the race amongst slower traffic and the improved pace of Mclaren this weekend resulting in both Hamilton and Button finishing on the podium moved Vettels closest competitors, Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber further down the field out of the high points paying positions.
