While Red Bull Racing locked up the Constructors championship last weekend at the Brazilian Grand Prix with the one two finish Vettel and Webber, everything is still to play for in the Drivers championship.

Based upon the recent performance it really looks like it is going to come down to a race between the top three drivers Alonso, Webber and Vettel. If Alonso finishes 2nd or higher he will be champion. For Webber to win the Championship he will need to win the race and Alonso can finish no higher than third.

Vettel can win the Championship if He wins the race and Mark Webber finishes third and Alonso finishes lower than 5th.

I am hoping for Mark Webber to come through and win at the Yaz Marina circuit, In my mind that would be a fantastic end to one of the most closely fought Formula One racing seasons ever.

Thanks for this. It’s always confusing when these mid-east/far-east races take place especially when everyone’s switching their clocks this time of year. Practice 3 this morning was great. It’s really shaping up to be the best climax for the best season in memory. It seems like everyone’s holding their cards really close to their chest. I’d like to see Hamilton win but because it may be Mark’s last chance to win the title I wouldn’t mind at all seeing him take it.

There’s some interesting conspiracy theories going around. Will Schumi take out Alonso and Webber and give his countryman and friend the title? Will Ferrari use Massa to do the same to Webber and Vettel? This is shaping up to be an epic weekend.

I agree this should be a great race tomorrow. Alonso is looking to be in a strong position to take the drivers championship but I would like to see Webber take it all, although after his performance in Qualy today make his chances slim.
