Singapore Grand Prix Friday Practice

by F1Fan on September 24, 2010

Friday Practice for the singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Circuit was all about Red Bull Racing.

With Red Bulls Sebastian Vettel over half a second faster than his closest competitor Team Mate Mark Webber and well over a second faster than the McLArens of Hamilton and Button and the Ferrari’s of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa it looks like Red Bull will be the team to beat.

Unlike every other Grand Prix the Singapore Grand Prix is run at night and that also aplies to the practice and Qualifying sessions.

While Second Practice was Dry most late afternoons in Singapore experience Heavy rain leaving the track extremely wet in places and slow to Dry.

Friday Practice, September 24, 2010. Marina Bay Street Circuit

Fernando Alonso was putting in some good times and looks to be competitive but towards the end of the practice session his car stopped on track raising a large question mark over the reliability of the revamped Ferrari F10.

One things for sure with the Drivers championship on the line, Qualifying is sure going to be worth watching tomorrow.
