Hungarian Grand Prix One Lap of Hungaroring with Mark Webber

by F1Fan on July 28, 2010

For the Hungarian Grand Prix Red Bull Racing have gone back to their usual format of releasing a video with Mark Webber at the wheel of the Red Bull Racing Simulator.

The great thing about these video’s is that you get a view of the track from the drivers perspective, explaining where the overtaking opportunities are and the difficulties of the particular track.

In the case of the Hungarian Grand Prix the race is held at the Hungaroring circuit which has hosted the grand prix since 1986. A notoriously tight twisty circuit, that is seldom used making conditions on the track very slippery especially during the early part of the race weekend only improving as rubber is laid down during the practice and qualifying sessions.

located some 25 kilometres from Budapest the capital of Hungary, the hungaroring is largely unchanged from its original layout and is known to favour cars with good mechanical grip and strong slow-corner performance. So it should be a good fit for the Red Bull’s of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel and just maybe the revitalized Ferrari F10’s of Alonso and Massa. Should be a good race.

Lets see what Webber has to say:
