Australian Grand Prix Race Schedule

by F1Fan on March 24, 2010

Just 3 days to go until the Australian Grand Prix which will be held at the famous Albert Park street circuit close to downtown Melbourne in the beach-side St Kilda district.

The central location of Albert Park makes it one of the most accessible of all current grand prix venues, with many fans installed and F1 personnel choosing to walk to the circuit. For the second successive occasion the Grand Prix will be a twilight race this year, starting at 5:00 pm local time, with Practice and Qualifying sessions also starting much later than the normal Grand Prix.

Unlike Bahrain changes to the track at Albert Park have been minimal, a new combination kerb has been on the apex of turn 9 and the kerbs and artificial grass on the exit of turns 2 and 12 have been extended downstream.
