HRT Replaces Campos – Launches New Car

by F1Fan on March 4, 2010

Hispania Racing F1 (HRT F1) received the FIA’s official endorsement of its name change from Campos Meta 1 just yesterday when the final list of 2010 Formula One World Championship entrants was announced.

The team isn’t hanging around and today in a low key ceremony in Murcia, Spain announced the addition of Karun Chandhock as it’s second driver and unveiled the team livery on its new Dallara designed Formula One chassis.

Chandhock who raced in GP2 last season will be joining fellow GP2 racer Bruno Senna who was signed earlier by Campos with the new HRT F1 team honoring his contract.

It will be hard going for HRT as the new car has yet to even turn a wheel let alone complete any shakedown tests and the Bahrain Grand Prix is only 9 days away.
