USF1 Sponsor Jumps Ship

by F1Fan on February 24, 2010

With Sponsorship not easy to come by in this difficult economic climate the last thing any team needs is to loose existing sponsorship. Unfortunately thats what has just happened to USF1.

Locstein, a global finances company headquartered in Geneva with offices in London and Washington has just that it is withdrawing its sponsorship, citing the teams inability to compete for the total season as its main reason

Here is the text of the Locstein press release:

“Locstein Comments on USF1 Team Partnership
Geneva, February 23rd, 2010

As a matter of course, Locstein evaluates a variety of business opportunities around the globe, including sponsorship in Formula 1 racing.

Locstein did engage USF1 Team regarding sponsorship, but when it was apparent that the team was not able to participate in the entire 2010 season, Locstein elected to withdraw from further involvement with USF1.

Locstein wishes the USF1 organization the best of luck in their endeavors.

Ken Anderson and Peter Windsor must be wondering what else can go wrong.
