Day three of the Jerez Test started dry but ended up being curtailed by heavy rain arriving mid morning.
The Toro Rosso continued to perform well being fast earlier this week in the hands of Sebastien Buemi, today Toro Rosso second driver Jamie Alguersuari took over and showed everyone else that he is fast as well, setting fastest time of the Jerez test so far.

Virgin continues to struggle, missing the dry period in the morning getting the new parts on the car, and unable to get any real test mileage achieved. It will be interesting to see if Lotus will suffer the same teething problems when they show up at the next test.
BMW Sauber performed well after being fastest yesterday in the hands of Kamui Kobayashi, today Pedro De La Rosa was also quick coming in just behind the Toro Rosso of Alguesuari and just in front of Adrain Sutil in the Force India who must be pleased with their performance so far.
While Virgin Racing blamed the weather for the lack of completed laps it didn’t seem to worry Rubens Barrichello in the Williams FW32 who just kept belting around the circuit completing 120 laps, by far the most of any team today.
