Kimi Raikkonen Confirmed for 2010 WRC

by F1Fan on January 8, 2010

In a recent press the release the FIA has confirmed that ex Ferrari Formula One World Champion Kimi Raikkonen has been entered into the 2010 World Rally Championship (WRC).

I guess even F1 champions have to start somewhere and for Kimi Raikkonen it looks like that means driving for the Citroen WRC Junior Team alongside frenchman Sébastien Ogier, even though the Driver for the second car of the primary Citroen WRC team has yet to be announced.

Interestingly Sebastien Loeb is also confirmed as driving for the primary Citroén Team in 2010 squashing the rumors that he would make a move into Formula One this year.
