Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Weekend Race Schedule

by F1Fan on October 28, 2009

Formula One returns to the middle east for the final race of the season which will be held at the brand new Yaz Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.

While the Drivers and Constructors championships were already settled at the previous Grand Prix in Brazil with Jenson Button winning the World Championship and his team Brawn GP clinching the Constructors title.

Red Bull Racing have locked up second place in the Constructors championship but there is a real fight between McLaren and Ferrari as to who will claim 3rd place. With McLaren leading by only one point going into this weekends race it is going to be a close finish.

The Yaz Marina circuit is similar to Interlagos in a couple areas in that it also runs Anti-clockwise, and has a very long high speed section. Other than that the similarity fades with Yaz Marina having non of the elevation changes that make Interlagos so special. However what it lacks in topography it makes up for with dramatic Architecture and first class facilities.

In the US SpeedTv will be broadcasting the Practice, Qualifying and the Race live if you use Direct TV the table below gives the transmission times.
