Lewis hamilton lead from Pole position on the grid to win the Singapore Grand Prix.
During the early laps Nico Rosberg pressured Hamilton but after a terrible mistake leaving the pits after his first pit stop where he drifted wide crossing the dividing line separating the Pit exit lane from the track, a major no no in formula One, Rosberg received a drive through penalty.
Unfortunately for Rosberg a few laps later before the penalty just as the penalty was handed down Adrain Sutil spins and takes out Nick Heidfeld bringing out the safety car and compressing the field, so rather than just loosing a few positions Rosberg penalty cost him 12 positions dropping him from second to 14th effectively ruining what was looking to be a podium finish.
Timo Glock in the Toyota made the most of his best qualifying position of the season, driving extremely well throughout the race to end up in second place the best result for Toyota this season.
Fernando Alonso also did well for Renault claiming the last position on the Podium no doubt a very welcome result in the Renault Camp after the events earlier in the week.
