Will the 2010 British Grand Prix Happen

by F1Fan on September 25, 2009

With the latest news that the organizers of the new home of the British Grand Prix at Donnington Park are still have financing problems there is growing doubt that the 2010 season will actually see a Grand Prix held in the UK.

Apparently Bernie Ecclestone has extended the deadline for Donnington yet again, but this time for only one additional week beyond his earlier deadline of the end of September.

Ecclestone has indicated that if Donnington cannot live up to its obligations the Grand Prix will revert to Silverstone, but will Silverstone even want the Grand Prix at such late notice.

I guess we have to wait a couple of weeks to find out.
